A new update from the band.
After more than 10 years together, Matteo "Cuzzo" Cuzzolin is no more the Ancient Dome bass player. The separation took place in a friendly way, and we can only thank him for these years spent with us, for the many gigs and the infinite recording sessions together. Good luck to him for the future and for the new family created along with Sara!
For the confirmed gigs, the great Davide "White" Bianchi, ex guitarist from Crazy Slaughter and actually involved as bassist and vocalist with his project Ultimate Holocaust, the only existing Italian tribute band to Sodom, will help us.
Gigs already confirmed:
- 9th December 2011 - Live @ Bar Sala (Calco, LC), with Fallen Fuckin' Angels and Unable;
- 3rd March 2012 - Live @ Altrove (Palazzolo Sull'Oglio, BS).
Not because of the band, the gig of 17th December @ Arlecchino in Vedano Olona previously reported was canceled, just to continue with the "lucky period" of the band regarding live activity, terrible during the last year and a half. We hope to retrieve the gig in 2012, although there are no preconditions.
As if that was not enough, the split album that would soon see the light will not come to completion; also now the fault is not attributable neither to us nor to the guys of Metalheadz. Unfortunately, the Italian underground label we were talking about availability for the distribution of the platter started to ignore all e-mails, and today is two months we do not receive any response to the request for contract to be countersigned. After several requests, we have chosen to abandon the project; without giving names, we invite you all to snub some charlatans who do not even care to answer and clarify, preferring to avoid the problem just ignoring it. Definitely sad, especially in the underground movement.
We'll let you know about the future of the already recorded songs, hope they will come out as an EP in the immediate future.

Some news for the ancient dome of thrash...
The split album we were talking about will see the light in a few months, we hope before the end of 2011; our dear friends
will share with us what is going to become a good piece of thrash metal!
5 songs each band, for us "Human Key" and "Perception Of This World", those someone maybe already knows, plus "Prisoners" and "Thrashcape", two new songs, and finally another new version of an old song from us known as "My Own War", not yet appeared on the reissue of our debut album, and re-sang by Jerry.
We'll be guests again, invited by Piddu, Wanna and Virus, to the radio program Noisy Hours, Monday the 17th of October; we'll present all the 4 new songs, so stay tuned!!!

called "Festa Insubre", with Damnatio Memoriae, E.O.S., Lissander Brasca and Ligera 77.
Our sound engineer, but first of all dear friend Davide "Axehell" Colombo, will play the bass with us; Cuzzo will not be
on stage due to previously scheduled work commitments.

DOMINATION STUDIO with Simone Mularoni, the first week of September.
A split album with a band of friends will follow in the next future, more news to come.

offline because of maintenance, that comes before graphic restyling of our website, online
in a few weeks.
The cd is ready since the end of September, and you can buy it directly online, distributor's
website, from Punishment 18 Records website or directly from us, for sure the best way to
support us. You can find more informations about how contact us in the section "Merchandise",
and new t-shirts and new patches are the next step, so stay tuned.
Illegal download (or call it in different way, if you want) is already started, but we count
on the real underground supporters, like the most of the bands does.

Sano, puro, diretto Thrash metal in perfetto stile "old school" ma con una freschezza ed una originalità che lo
porta direttamente e con coerenza al 2009. Parlo con voi giovanotti che amate il metal così come deve essere fatto:
comperate il disco degli Ancient Dome e rimarrete stupiti...potrebbero benissimo dire di venire dalla Bay Area e
nessuno li sgamerebbe.

E' stato recensito un po' ovunque e tutti, dico TUTTI, gli hanno tributato voti e giudizi ECCELLENTI, quindi non
mi dilungo in inutili e superflue recensioni.
Lasciatemi solo dire con orgoglio che ho avuto il piacere/onore di cantare una song dell'album come ospite e fra
tutte le recensioni quella di Thrash Never Dies nella parte che mi riguarda mi ha steso...non ho mai riso così
tanto!!! Leggetela e rotolatevi...

Kind words also in the Thrash Metal Guide, thanks to Ivan, a sort of "voyage" into our discography...
"Based on the self-titled demo, this band pull out classic speed/thrash along the lines of Paradox
(closer to their debut, rather than "Heresy"), or more recent Tankard. The tempo is energetic, and the guitar
leads are quite good. There are moments which recall the 90's power/speed metal scene ("Metalmaniacs"), as well
as an atmospheric bass instrumental ("Ode to a Muse").
The 2008 promo thrashes more in a Bay-Area, rather than a German hashion, but is frequently entertaining,
thrashing relentlessly, with sharp riffs, cool melodic hooks, nice short leads, even providing some more
semi-technical moments on the longer "State of Regression". "Fall of the Dominion" is the break from the intense
pattern, stretching into softer speed/power metal territories, with a nice balladic acoustic ending.
"Human Key" continues mostly in the Germanic speed/thrash vein, with the two highlights from the last demo
("Fall of the Dominion", "State of Regression") taking the up-front. Their "company" is anything but unappealing,
though: the speed metal monster "Tyrants"; the heavy doomy power/thrasher with Oriental motives "Human Key";
the less than 30-min speed/thrashing instrumental "Aeons". "Cold September" is a bit debatable, being a heavy
ballad, as well as the more modern sounding, slightly dragging "Lost Creature". Fortunately the last two songs
deliver, one being nice speed metal killer ala Paradox and early Helloween: "Architects Of Dreams", the closer
"Total Command" a more aggressive thrashing delight with an American flavour.

We want to remember you all that the album is out for one of the most active italian independent label,
PUNISHMENT 18 RECORDS, well known to metalheads for great italian underground ensemble like Subliminal Crusher,
Methedras, Cadaveric Crematorium, Exence, Coram Lethe, Ground Control or Hatework,
without forgetting Pitiful Reign, a new "world thrash sensation"; proud to be part of this roster!

band and the past drummer, and after a little search we discovered
Joe, a young promising drummer grown up with progressive metal and
recently addicted to our genre...
